After having a rough fun week patching the console, legendary PS3 hacker, Flukes1 has decided to call it a day. We first reported Flukes1 attempt to ‘hack’ the console about 10 days ago claiming that he want to bring PL3 payload to 3.55.

He then released 3.55 LV2 Peek/Poke in a form of patcher which then can be used for Geohot’s CFW. Unfortunately, it is an unsuccessful one as there are some sort of “anti lv2 patching” in Geohot’s CFW. That does not stop him from patching further though, as Graf_Chokolo has helped Flukes1 to go to the LV1 first instead of LV2. It was a success but Sony’s legal actions to Geohot & others has made him backed out from releasing anything. Until yesterday where he has released tools instead of a bsdiff patcher which Wutangrza has made a good use of it.

Well, it is indeed a fun week, i hope Flukes1 will have much more success with his Wifi Sync app for the iPhone. Good luck!
