Has the Fail0verflow team finally released the private keys that they have been talking about in the recent worlwide exploitation of Sony’s security in the PS3 console? Well, that’s the question i have been asking myself for some time after reading the latest tweet from Fail0verflow team.

And here is the SHA-1 hashes of the keys. SHA is a short form of Secure Hash Algorithm.

Then i search around the internet and found that there is a generator for these things. Or suffice to say, the calculator for it, not sure if it’s the right word. Anyway, the number 315 might got something to do with the 3.15 PS3 firmware, the last one of firmware for Linux on PS3, OtherOS. And according to the Fail0verflow team, they will release AsbestOS.PUP, something like a bootloader for Linux based on Marcan’s work. Well, we might have to wait until Fail0verflow team explained the ‘some keys’ part before we can assumed anything.
