Just when we thought he is gone from the PS3 Jailbreak scene. Now, he’s back (in a drunk mode) to released a new version of his popular payloads, the Hermes v4b. What are the things you can expect from this new version of Hermes payloads? Well, let’s hear from the supposedly retired man himself:
4B raw2payload includes a correction for those who use Windows and fixes a stupid mistake I made by copying the files, because the port1_config_descriptor.h port1_config_descriptor.bin and are in fact the V3 version.
If you compiled the .S, have the V4 and if not .. as well, sorry for the failure! [drunk]
raw2payload: changed in fopen “r” and “w” by “rb”
In MSDOS/WINDOWS “r” is for text files and “rb” is for binary
files. If you use MinGW from ifcaro compilers, instead Cygwin
or Linux, you need this changes.
Added port1_config_descriptor.h and port1_config_descriptor.bin
from V4 (in the V4 release you have ONLY the .S file from V4)
See, i have told you that he is drunk. Imagine what he can code when he is in 100% condition not-drunk wise. I guess he deserved to work in a big programming company instead of being a construction worker. Anyway, here are the source code as well as the included hex files for AT90USB162 and AT90USB1287 in the archive that has been provided below by Elotrolado.
Watch the PSGroove Hex File Collection, i will update it later when i have enough compiled hexes.
