If you ever got any chat message that is suspicious with some unidentified links, DON’T click on it. Over the weekend, Facebook has been investigating this spammers that harrasing users with malicious links via Facebook Chat. A report from CNET says that a victim will receive a chat message from their friend that read “LOL, is this you?” and in the message it will contained a link. After clicking the link, the user will be redirected to a 404 page where it will compromised the users account. It will then be use to spam other Facebook users. The spokesperson for Facebook told to CNET that they will be looking to look into this matter, but there is still no news heard from them. If you have been spammed, please change your Facebook identification immediately so that the spammer will have no malicious access to your account.
