Seems that someone had it working with the latest version of Cover Manager with Mathieulh’s PSGroove update. This what he said:

My firmware is PSGroove 23b36af (psgroove 1.1 with retail .pkg patch, the one that just came out after waninkoko and supposed to have cleaner code):
that’s the last one people used to make .hex files recently so no need to switch to another version.Both updates that already worked with Demo Packager and updates that didn’t work are now directly downloading from the internet and *working*
