Our friends at TIAO have made a custom PS3 homebrew USB board which enable you to install open source firmware, not just PSGroove but any other firmwares too. No price have been set yet for this custom USB dongle, but it is rumored not to be as expensive as any other USB dongles in the market. I have feeling that this will be the best option out there considering a lot of electric shop all over [...]

Seems that eavpsp is not the only one who are working on porting PSGroove to PSP console as PspPsGroove is jumping to the equation. It is confirmed that HADES TEAM is working for PspPsGrove and they are quite not popular with the original developer of PSGroove, Mathieulh. Before the release of PSGroove, HADES TEAM are skeptical about the release of PSGroove claiming that it is fake and even saying [...]

Alright, yet another PS Jailbreak clone news this time around. PS3Stinger has posted a “Coming Soon” page in their official website with the details on the price of their dongles which happens to be €79.00 (£66.00) (including tax). The funny thing is, when they started, they promised us to sell it at just €49.99. I don’t know what happen, but something fishy is really going [...]

In the light of PS Jailbreak exploit open source code release a.k.a PSGroove, and the sudden shortage of USB dongle globally, x3Jailbreak is trying to give you a better solution. It is still unclear what price will they offer but with their encouraging news, we could see an interesting development in the near. If we can have a full support and better quality dongles with a price of that is worth [...]

Someone has posted a video with a working PS Jailbreak clone using PSGroove exploit code. For the USB board that he flashed, he is using Olimex AVR-USB-162 and it looks very nice on his PS3 console. So, if anyone having doubt about the USB, you wouldn’t now. I wonder if it is easily available in Asia? Since the boy supposedly came from Thailand. Anyway, keeping my hopes high for PSGroove!

It is confirmed now that someone is working on porting PSGroove for the Android devices. But he is still unclear whether he will use the original PSGroove or OpenPSJailBreak as a base. For the record, OpenPSJailbreak is a modded version of PSGroove which add the Backup Manager function on the exploit. The Backup Manager is useful if you want to backup your games in your PS3. Yes, a very promising [...]

Wondering why a PC porting of PSGroove is near impossible? This little explanation which is based from DarkAntiMatter‘s post might help you. First, you got to understand that the PC is a USB HOST device, same with the PS3 console, so by using a USB A-A Cable, you basically will connect a Host to a Host. Which is just like connecting an input to an input. Unfortunately, this wont even work. [...]

We all very aware that to create a PS Jailbreak clone with PSGroove you need a USB chips/microcontrollers board to flash it and connect it with your PS3. But, due to the recent burst in demand for such USB dongles, almost all electronics shop all over the internet are dried up in stocks. The only thing that we can do now is to get it from a legit supplier through pre-orders. But where do the supplier [...]
